Russia attacked aggressively, flattening a series of Ukrainian missile depots
(Dan Tri) – Russia said a number of cruise missiles and artillery shells made from depleted uranium supplied by the West to Ukraine were destroyed in a series of attacks.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, over the past week, Russian forces conducted 12 group attacks against different targets in Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said the targets included Ukrainian aircraft and armored vehicle repair facilities, oil refineries, ammunition and foreign-made weapons depots, and training centers for armed groups.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, long-range, high-precision, ground- and air-launched missiles and drones were deployed in the attacks.
`As a result of the attacks, the logistics system of the Ukrainian armed forces, operating in the direction of Kherson and Zaporizhia, suffered significant damage,` the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed.

Ukraine received Storm Shadow/SCALP-Eg long-range cruise missiles from the UK and France earlier this year.
According to Sky News, Storm Shadows missiles were deployed in Ukraine’s attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the city of Sevastopol on September 22.
The target of the Storm Shadow missile is fortified infrastructure and enemy mobile or fixed targets.

Britain has also provided Ukraine with depleted uranium ammunition since March. This controversial ammunition will be used on Challenger 2 tanks that London provided to Kiev.
When providing weapons aid to Ukraine, Western countries emphasized that Kiev must commit not to use those weapons to attack Russian territory, but did not mention Crimea – the peninsula annexed to Russia in 2014.
