An explosion occurred in Darnytskyi district, Kiev when an air strike warning was issued early this morning, injuring 7 people.
Rocket fragments also fell in the Holosiivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, damaging a gas pipeline and windows in a five-story building.
According to Kiev officials, rocket debris fell in the city center and damaged buildings in the east, causing a fire that sent two people to hospital.
Local officials and media also reported explosions in the Kharkov, Khmelnytskiy, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions of Ukraine.
In the city of Rivne in the western region of Ukraine, according to Suspilne media agency, there was a partial power outage.
Mr. Andrii Yusov, an official of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Agency, said that Russian forces are conducting reconnaissance of Ukrainian energy facilities seemingly with the intention of conducting raids on these targets in the near future.
