Ukrainian UAVs unleashed firepower, shooting down Russian tanks
(Dan Tri) – Ukraine announced that it destroyed more than $7 million in Russian military equipment in just one night using drones.
Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov on September 26 shared a video recording attacks by drones (UAVs) targeting Russian military equipment.
`Our secret UAV from the UAV Army created hell for the enemy. Russia was very afraid of this `bird` and they were right. Two tanks and artillery were lost, worth 7 million USD,` he said.
`This is the result of the efforts of Ukraine’s skilled soldiers and drones, which made the enemy extremely afraid,` the Ukrainian official declared.

The video shows soldiers from Ukraine’s 92nd Independent Assault Brigade using drones to target Russian T-80 and T-72 tanks as well as D-30 howitzers and set them on fire.
The video showed both tanks and artillery being hit, but it did not specify what type of drone was used or where or when the attack took place.
According to Fedorov, Ukrainian drone strikes destroyed a `record` 205 Russian military equipment last week, including 64 artillery pieces, 27 tanks and 55 trucks.
Ukraine mainly uses drones to attack Russian tanks and other valuable military assets.
Mr. Fedorov confirmed that Ukraine has trained more than 10,000 soldiers to operate drones this year.

Head of the State Special Media Service of Ukraine, Mr. Yury Schyhol, said that the conflict between this country and Russia over the past year has changed the approach to the use of UAVs in combat.
Previously, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Chief of the General Staff Valeriy Zaluzhnyi had approved the decision to establish the Ukrainian army’s first suicide UAV attack squad.
This is also said to be the first suicide UAV unit established by a regular army in the world.
Since the special military operation conducted by Russia, drones have played an irreplaceable role in the combat posture of the Ukrainian army.
Ukrainian UAVs made a very important contribution to holding back the progress of the Russian army in the first phase of the war, especially when Russia’s ability to fight quickly and win quickly depends greatly on mobility and strength.
Not only did Ukraine’s artillery and anti-tank weapons fire at Russian military gathering positions, Ukraine’s UAVs have repeatedly carried out attack missions and directly destroyed many weapons and equipment.
